Kia Ora Whanau

On the 25th of July our annual Matariki celebration is being held at the marae. We are encouraging all whanau to return. Nau mai haere mai.

Kia Ora,� John and I thoroughly enjoyed the Celebration with everyone at Whangaehu last Saturday.� A special �thank you� to the kitchen team and everyone involved behind the scenes � and, I want to especially thank you for including me on the Panui list.� It was a shame none of my siblings or their kids could attend; perhaps another Hui.� Lastly, I want to acknowledge the I/T team who put together a very comprehensive and interactive website;� John was particularly impressed, as what was presented is a step up from the web brochures that most people currently have.� Kia Ora for that.� Man ... you fellas are awesome!

Hi,this is Dot; Keith Dawsons wife, we just spent a wonderful weekend... for me to meet and Keith to reunite�with you all at�your Marae for Matariki. What an amazing welcome you all gave us.Your cousin was just blown away and we spent the trip home to Whangarei�trying to figure out who was who and confusing ourselves hideously over the family history. A week later and we are still on a high to know we have such cool family.

You offered to download the photos we took if I emailed them to you. I find I am even more computer challenged that I thought and havent found a quick way to send all of the photo's I took. So I have downloaded them to a disk and hope to send it to you and you could add them to the site as you see fit. If you are happy to do this would you send me your address so I can post them.

Again I can't express the gratitude we feel at being able to meet you all, please pass on our warm regards and thanks to everyone you come across.
